A legendary rock band Oasis has launched their super tour in the UK – the band has reunited. Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher took to the stage together in Cardiff after a 16-year break.
The concert was held in a packed stadium, and the Gallagher brothers performed their greatest hits. They didn’t argue on stage and at one point even held hands.
After this show, Oasis will continue their world tour, during which they will perform 41 concerts, according to the BBC. The tour is called “Oasis Live ’25.” In Manchester alone – the band’s hometown – they will play five concerts.
The Gallaghers announced their reunion in August 2024, and since then the band’s fans have been waiting to see their idols live.
The band’s formation, breakup and comeback
The band was formed in 1991 by brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher. The older brother, Noel, is the guitarist, main songwriter and producer of the band; the younger, Liam, is the vocalist.
Oasis became one of the most influential and commercially successful bands of the 1990s.
Hits like “Live Forever” and “Wonderwall” have become classics of 20th-century pop music. The band’s albums have sold tens of millions of copies worldwide.
Their breakup in 2009 became one of the most scandalous events in the music world. The break in their career is linked to a conflict between the brothers, the cause of which remains unknown to this day.
