The exhibition is part of the Glass Art and Design Festival “LOOK FOR THE APPLE 2025”.

During the festival you will find lectures and guided tours, presentations of glass artworks, installations in the shop windows and interiors of the Glass Quarter (Stiklių St., Gaono St., Dominikonų St.).

LONGEVITY | 23/09–17/10/2025

What endures longer—a human body, an algorithm, or a hand-blown glass vessel?

This exhibition explores longevity not only as a wellness trend but also as an intrinsic quality of art and material.

Despite its fragility, glass is one of humanity’s few “immortal” inventions: it can survive for centuries without decaying, preserving form, light, and memories.

Each piece is like a cultural time-capsule jar—a handmade testament that outlives its creator and becomes part of a longer narrative.

Here, art meets the longevity movement: while some seek life extension in supplement capsules, others find it in creativity and in the ability to perceive beauty that does not scatter.

The glass artists invite you to discover that longevity resides not only in human cells but also in the city, in traditions, in collective memory, and in the light captured within transparent matter.
